Hypnosis is actually the power of the subconscious mind to comprehend important issues, guidelines and suggestions that are offered by the hypnotist to change or enhance a desired behavior. Hypnosis helps the mind to believe and respond to positive stimulus that promotes a desired behavior, acting as a catalyst to quiet all the negative stimulus and reinforcements that people are taught in their lives. Hypnosis creates an environment within the subconscious mind that enhances and supports the positive beliefs and attitudes that are dismissed in the conscious mind.
